Working in fashion design and costuming since 2006 with such companies as Betsey Johnson, Joe Fresh and Parson-Meares Ltd and as a Parsons Fashion Design Alumni, I seized every opportunity to challenge myself with unconventional materials and ambitiousness in design. At Parsons, my thesis look which included a latex draped top and pants and Upcycled Leather Hat and corset, was selected by industry professionals out of 200 graduating students for display in the iconic Parsons 560 7th avenue auditorium. In April 2013, I was selected for my knowledge of millinery to be a part of collaboration between Parsons and Celebrity Hair Stylist Guido Palau. In that capacity, I created headpieces that were displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Punk: Couture to Chaos exhibition.
